Our Programme of Concerts

Friday 5th April 2019 Wrekin College Chapel, Wellington, Shropshire TF1 3BH at 7.30pm
This will be a concert of Light Orchestral Music and Songs from guest singer Dale Kynaston, in aid of Alzheimer's Reseach UK - Shropshire Fundraising Group.
Tickets (including light refreshments) Adult:8.50. Double Adult:16. Student in full time education 5. Available from www.ticketsource.co.uk (small booking fee applies) or on the door.
Saturday 22nd June 2019
 
Mytton Cottage, Mytton, Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury SY4 1EU at 7.00pm
This will be the eleventh annual outdoor "Proms in the Garden" that the Orchestra will have played at Mytton Cottage. As for the last 3 years the concert will raise funds for The Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Shrewsbury and Mytton Vilage Hall (Charity Number 522522).
The programme will include a wide selection of light music, and end with the "Last Night of the Proms" favourites of Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1", Fantasia on British Sea Songs" by Sir Henry Wood and Hubert Parry's "Jerusalem".
The orchestra will be joined by Jessica Johnson (soprano) and Andrew Murray (baritone) for some songs and leading the community singing.
Tickets priced at 10 for Adults and 5 for Children under 12, will be available nearer the date from Tom and Julie Kaye on Tel:01743 850722 and you are invited to bring your Gazebos, chairs, picnics and drinks etc. Gates will open at 5.30pm.
Saturday 26th October 2019 All Saints Church, Baschurch, Shrewsbury, SY4 2EF
This will be a "Last Night of the Proms" themed concert to raise funds for All Saints Church. The programme will include a selection of light music and will conclude with favourite last night of the proms pieces. Further details nearer the date.
